My name is Alexandra Tashman, and I’m terribly amusing. I’m studying History and Political Science at UCLA and I write Opinion columns for UCLA’s student newspaper, The Daily Bruin. I like to read Victorian novels, eat, and take exquisitely long naps. I&#8217;m very immersed in social-media and online news, and I feel that one of the things missing on my extensive, Internet related &#8220;resume&#8221; so-to-speak, is a blog. A real blog, not a guilty-pleasure tumblr where 80 percent of what I post is photos of Han Solo.</p> <p>So this is going to be my real blog. I plan to post almost entirely original content, with exceptions made for commentary on artwork, literature, or statistics/graphics of a political nature.
